Who We Are

The Light House Women’s Recovery Center in Fresno, CA, is a beacon of hope for women striving to overcome drug and alcohol addiction. Since its founding in 2007 by Vikki Luna, The Light House has empowered hundreds of women to break free from addiction, reconnect with family, and embrace a fulfilling life of sobriety, independence, and purpose.

Our mission is to provide holistic treatment and education in an environment of safety, sobriety, and faith-based living, supporting women who are ready to become productive, contributing members of their families and communities. We are dedicated to helping women and their children develop new skills, achieve higher goals, and grow in their relationships with one another and with God.

Women in our program find a safe, supportive space to receive professional individual and group therapy each week. Through evidence-based treatment that nurtures body, mind, and spirit, each woman is empowered to heal and rebuild. Our licensed therapists also provide family and relationship therapy, preparing women to restore bonds with loved ones and to live with a spirit of service toward others.

At The Light House, women experience a full continuum of care: secure, home-like residence; faith-building Bible studies; mentorship; and vital life-skills training in areas like anger management, parenting, career building, and wellness. Hands-on job training through our Light-WEAR apparel line, Cornerstone Coffee Company, and Ladybug Boutique and Gift equips each woman with practical work experience, helping her transition confidently into the workforce.

Our work is made possible by a caring community of local churches, business partners, and corporate sponsors who share our commitment to helping women in recovery. Together, we’re building a supportive network where women can achieve lasting sobriety, restore family relationships, and live lives of renewed hope and purpose.
